The Beginning is Half of Everything

So another blogger joins the maelstrom of chaotic voices that is the internet. Each will claim it is different, independent, unique...but few actually are. As the chosen title of my blog should illustrate, I will attempt to avoid this. I am an American, and though the United States bestows no titles of nobility I am a member of the ruling class (though admittedly on the low end) and have dealt with the series of debacles that is Washington DC since I was a child. Thus, I feel a legitimate part of the unspoken American aristocracy, though my true nobility is deeper than this. If you need to know more, I suggest you brush up on your Nietzsche and Machiavelli.
